Not to steal any of our sponsor's thunder... certainly look to them first, but if you strike out I have several sets JUST like that one.

Let me know if you want to horse trade.

I'm glad you like it, Joe.

I don't have any more like that, but very soon I'll be pulling the trigger on a large new web site that will include (amidst all of the current offerings) things like this...

....and this....

...and this....

...and this...

I just finished a bubinga guitar. I am very pleased with bubinga in every respect, except it is way to tough to sand.

Jeanne

It is my first set of bubinga. It sure is pretty wood. Even the name sounds exciting!! I haven't decided what body style I'll use. I've just started thinking about a top. What do you think Jeanne? Would a curly redwood top be to much? Maybe just some nice spruce?

John,

Thank you and I've got to say, the examples you show above are all excellent!!! Can't wait.Joe Beaver38962.6178587963

I'd love a set of Bubinga like that myself.

Yes, bubinga is a fun word to say....my son is running about saying it with an Italian accent... calling his Momma "my little bubinga"...

Since you asked, Joe, personally I might find a curly redwood top a bit too busy for my taste. IMVHO

I would consider a spruce if it were my build.

Thanks for asking!

Hey, here's a pic (which I hope isn't too big) of a curly redwood top paired with a crazy wild Bubinga back and sides. See what you think:

Too busy?

Also, can you name the luthier?

Steve
